Anne Grimes has lived in this beautiful Welsh valley for the last thirty years. She wrote poetry at university and sporadically thereafter but began to write more seriously and consistently when her children were growing up. She worked in education as an English teacher and was head of the English Department of Ealing Grammer School for Girls before leaving to bring up her two childern. In Wales she has worked with disturbed boys in Lampeter and then as a lecturer in Further Education in Cardigan. She is a member of the Lampeter Writers Workshop run by Gillian Clarke. |
